Rosslare Europort has welcomed the decision by DFDS to increase its capacity on the Rosslare to Dunkirk service
Rosslare Europort has welcomed the decision by DFDS to increase its capacity on the Rosslare to Dunkirk service. DFDS have introduce a greater RoPax vessel the “MV Regina Seaways” to replace the MV Kerry on the route. The Regina Seaways will increase the capacity on this route and as a result will add a further 30% more capacity for the transport industry to the continent.
Rosslare Europort continues to see growth on the continental routes by 368% YTD. With Brittany Ferries, Stena Line and DFDS all seen increased demands on the direct services both for exports and imports. Rosslare Europort also welcomes the return of volume on the short sea routes with both Irish Ferries and Stena Line seeing a boost in freight on both the Pembroke and Fishguard service.
The port has also seen an uptake on passengers moving through with both the UK and continental routes benefitting from the late summer surge.
Rosslare Europort is Ireland’s number one port for the quickest sailings to both the UK and Continent. We offer the transport sectors daily services to Pembroke and Fishguard in the UK with Irish Ferries and Stena line. Which complement the daily sailings to the continent – Bilbao, Cherbourg, and Dunkirk – served by DFDS, Stena Line and Brittainy Ferries who offer the most frequent and quickest direct option from Ireland to Europe.
