The IEA Sustainable Supply Chains training programme has been specially developed to offer practical training and tools to support companies in calculating, reporting and reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. The programme involves a series of half-day workshops designed to train companies to measure, report and reduce their transport and supply chain emissions, and adopt more sustainable procurement practices. Participants will each receive practical carbon measurement and reduction tools from the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC) for adoption within their organisations.
The programme is suitable for companies of any size and sector, from companies just starting their sustainability journey to organisations further down the road to carbon neutrality.

Digital Badge Awards
All trainees who successfully complete a Sustainable Supply Chains training course receive a digital badge award containing verifiable data on the skills or knowledge attained. Digital badges can be shared on social media platforms such as LinkedIn or added to digital CVs or email signatures.

Myself and my colleagues participated in the Sustainable Supply Chain Programmes in Autumn 2021. Four excellently run modules covering everything from Carbon Literacy through to Sustainable Purchasing. It was the perfect introduction to understanding and putting into perspective, the issues around Green House Gas emissions, how you might measure your own Carbon Footprint and what practical steps you can take to start reducing. This course put us on the road to starting our own Sustainability journey and we have already made progress in several areas. The presenters are extremely knowledgeable and completely open to questions and sharing information. I highly recommend this course to anyone tasked with making the necessary (and mandatory) changes that are needed to achieve our GHG reduction targets.
