Extend Partner Networks
The IEA has an extensive network of trusted partners, enabling it to legalise documents for virtually every country in the world. This provides consumers with greater flexibility and accessibility in their legalisation efforts.
Our Process
- Document Review: We start by reviewing your document to ensure it’s complete and accurate. If necessary, we arrange for your document to be notarised by a certified notary public in Ireland.
- Submission to DFA: We submit your document to the Consular Services section of the Department of Foreign Affairs on your behalf. The DFA verifies the notary public’s signature and attaches an authentication certificate.
- Obtain Apostille: If your destination country is a signatory to the Hague Convention, we obtain an apostille from the DFA, simplifying the process of international document recognition.
- Commercial Document Certification: For commercial documents, we obtain the required certification from the local Chamber of Commerce.
- Embassy or Consulate Legalisation: After DFA authentication, we manage the additional legalisation process required by the embassy or consulate of the country where your document will be used.
- Final Steps: Once all necessary steps are completed, your document is fully legalised and ready for use in the destination country.
