GDP Audit

The GDP audit is the final step to achieving the GDP Passport. An audit is conducted to ensure procedures are in place to meet the requirements of the GDP Passport Scheme by an IEA GDP Auditor. The audit report is subsequently sent for approval to the Life Sciences International (LSI) Steering Committee, an independent committee comprised of representatives from the life sciences industry.

GDP Audits will cover:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Quality Manual and Documentation
  • GDP certified staff descriptions and training
  • Facility & Warehouse
  • Temperature Controlled Logistics
  • Drivers and Transportation
  • Recall / Returns
  • Cross Dock Processes
  • Outsourced Activity Controls

Cost:

IEA Members: €995 + VAT

Non-members: €1350 + VAT

Companies required to undergo a follow-up second audit based on non-compliance issues identified by the GDP auditor and/or the LSI Steering Committee are required to pay an additional fee of €500 + VAT to cover the costs of the audit. Companies based outside of the Leinster region may be required to cover additional travel expenses.
