This prestigious annual international trade event was a unique opportunity for export business networking. Every year the IEA announced a recipient who will be presented with the IEA Gold medal at the lunch and give the keynote address. The Gold Medal Award was the Irish Exporters Association flagship award which recognises excellence in export industry development. The aim was to recognise the exceptional impact an individual has in the development of the Irish export industry throughout their career. Since its inception in 2008 the Gold Medal has been awarded to many of Ireland’s most prominent business people.
