The prestigious awards are judged by a panel drawn from BioPharmaChem Ireland; Science Foundation Ireland; National Institute for Bioprocess Research & Training (NIBRT); Shannon Applied Biotechnology Centre; Pharmaceutical Managers’ Institute Ireland and the Affiliation for Pharmacy Practice Experiential Learning (APPEL) along with academics from higher education institutions including UL; UCD; DCU; TCD and UCC.
Ruth Beadle, Site Head, Sanofi Waterford, said: “It’s obviously a great thrill to receive this recognition among our peers in the life sciences sector nationally.
“Above all, the awards are testament to the great team at Waterford and the work that they do every day for our patients around the world. We place a lot of emphasis on teamwork and it’s working together that brings about this type of success.
“As the site diversifies and grows to serve more patients than ever before, it’s great to have this chance to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come together. Externally, the awards should also support our recruitment activity over time as they help raise awareness of our Waterford success story.”
