Sustainable Supply Chains Training: Sustainable Procurement – March 28th

The Sustainable Procurement course trains companies on assessing their current procurement processes and adopting more sustainable practices in the future.  The course provides an overview of the Smart Freight Centre’s Freight Procurement Guidelines developed in conjunction with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). This course will bring participants up to date on the Circular Economy and Green Procurement (Clause 8.3 within ISO50001) in the context of a rapidly changing legislative and business environment.

The Sustainable Procurement training workshop consists of three modules. Each module will be delivered in interactive 50-minute sessions via the WebEx platform. This will be followed by a Q&A session where participants can raise particular issues and challenges their organisations to face.
