Imports, AIS and Transit Declarations

The IEA Completing Customs Declarations courses are divided into two training days covering the practical application of completing customs declarations for imports and exports. The courses have been designed to provide practical, hands-on training with industry-specific examples.

What you will learn:

• An overview of using  TARIC, Classification, Country of Origin and Incoterms 2020
• The key regulations governing the import of goods
• How to use the Automated Import Systems (AIS)
• Examples of using AIS for a range of goods including chemicals, food & drink and pharmaceutical products
• How to complete transit declarations for imports
