Our theme ‘Succeeding in an Increasingly Uncertain World’ truly highlights the fact that Ireland continues to show strength and resilience in the face of global challenges. The last two years Irish business have positioned themselves as persistent, determined and innovative and we look forward to continuing to support them to grow in the years to come, particularly as they make further advancements on their sustainability journey.”

Niall Savage, Head of Retail and Manufacturing, KPMG Ireland commented:

“We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Export Industry Awards in 2022 and greatly look forward to spending time with great Irish located businesses thriving on the international stage. Since the last in-person awards in 2019, global trade has experienced unprecedented uncertainty and it is right that we get together to celebrate and acknowledge outstanding companies and their management teams who have succeeded in these conditions.”

Giulio Buciuni, Director of Msc Entrepreneurship, Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin added:

“I am delighted to represent Trinity Executive Education & Trinity Business School at the 2022 Exports Industry Award. As a lecturer in International Entrepreneurship, I know how much it matters to celebrate champions of internationalization and to spotlight successful international strategies. Ireland is an export-driven economy and as such it is important that we recognise benchmark organisations in export excellence across industry and particularly in relation to leading the way in sustainable exports and trade. This, I have no doubt, will contribute greatly to improve Ireland’s overall competitiveness in the global economic landscape.”

About the Export Industry Awards

The 20th edition of the Irish Exporters Association’s Export Industry Awards is the premier event for recognising the achievements of Irish Exporters and has been growing in strength and recognition each year. It is important that we highlight the exporting companies and service providers who have excelled across the industry despite some difficult trading conditions and that we highlight these companies who have been fundamental to Ireland’s success. Exporting businesses have been an essential part of Ireland’s global success despite incredibly difficult international trade conditions over the past two years. The Export Industry Awards allows us to celebrate those Irish businesses that continue to succeed in an increasingly uncertain world. Over 500 export industry professionals will attend the black-tie gala event on September 30th at the Round Room at the Mansion House. Sponsors: KPMG, Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin, Bord Bia, Dixon International Logistics, Enterprise Ireland, and media partner The Times & The Sunday Times.
