The Irish Exporters Association, the voice of the Export Industry in Ireland, announces 64 entries across 10 categories shortlisted for the 2022 Export Industry Awards. The biggest IEA event of the year, with over 500 export industry leaders, professionals, and international dignitaries in attendance will be entertained by none other than comedian Oliver Callan.
10 category winners and one overall Exporter of the Year will be announced at the 20th Export Industry Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on Friday, 30th September 2022 at the Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Simon McKeever, Chief Executive of the Irish Exporters Association, said: “I am delighted to announce today that 64 entries have been shortlisted across 10 categories in this edition of the IEA’s Export Industry Awards. Now celebrating their 20th anniversary, the Export Industry Awards recognise the tremendous achievements of companies working in international trade in Ireland, this year with a new emphasis on sustainable trade.
Our independent judging panel was thoroughly impressed by the businesses’ ability to succeed in our increasingly uncertain world, as well as by the strength, resilience, and leadership shown by companies in the face of global challenges. Irish companies are more innovative and creative than ever, which will be incredibly beneficial to them as sustainability challenges come our way now.
I would like to extend my thanks to our Platinum and Category sponsors, for their continued support which allows us to run our flagship event. My appreciation also to Aidan Cotter and our panel of judges for all the time and attention they give to the judging process.
To all the shortlisted companies, the very best of luck to all of you, and I look forward to seeing you at our black-tie Export Industry Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on September 30th, as well as welcoming you into our Alumni Masterclass hosted by Trinity Business School, Trinity College Dublin on the 14th October.
To those who were not shortlisted this year, thank you for your applications and the IEA looks forward to working with you and to support you at every step of your export journey.”
