Irish Exporters Association partner with Rhenus Logistics, Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail and Fleet Transport Magazine to roll out 2021 Export Series of online events

The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) in partnership with Rhenus Logistics, Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail and Fleet Transport Magazine has launched its 2021 Export Series. Through a year-long series of webinars, membership network groups and newsletters, the 2021 series focuses on supporting exporters with new trading arrangements with the UK, particularly preparing members for the UK’s phased import controls coming into effect on 1 April and 1 July, while also drawing exporters’ attention to wider markets for their goods, such as the US market and ensuring that members are up to speed and prepared for various sustainability policies that will come into force and alter business practices.

 Chief Executive of the IEA Simon McKeever said: “We are delighted to again partner with Rhenus Logistics, Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail and Fleet Transport Magazine to roll out our 2021 Export Series of events. I would like to thank our partners for their continuing commitment to us and for the support they give to Irish exporters. Our year-long series, which is completely online, allows us to touch base with our members on a regular basis through our five Regional Network Groups. These groups bring together manufacturers from the exporting industry and gives them a platform to engage directly with us and other members to find and develop specific solutions to challenges facing manufactures on a day-to-day basis. Our webinars will address the issues facing the exporting, importing and supply chain community and give our members access to the relevant representatives to directly pose questions and receive answers. I look forward to another successful year ahead and continuing to work closely with our partners.”
