Dublin, 30 September 2019: The Irish Exporters Association, the voice of the Export Industry in Ireland, today announces 43 companies across 12 categories shortlisted for the 2019 Export Industry Awards. The IEA flagship event with over 500 export industry professionals and international dignitaries in attendance, the Export Industry Awards will be moderated by PJ Gallaher.
12 category winners and one overall Exporter of the Year will be announced at the 19th Export Industry Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner on Friday, 8 November 2019 at the Convention Centre, Dublin.
Commenting on today’s announcement, Simon McKeever, Chief Executive of the Irish Exporters Association, said: “We are delighted to today announce 43 shortlisted companies across the 12 categories for this year’s Export Industry Awards. Now in their 19th year, the Export Industry Awards recognize the outstanding achievement of businesses exporting from Ireland as well as those companies that support the sector.
This year there is a very competitive field with a strong focus on innovation and outstanding achievement. Under the Chairmanship of former Ambassador Bobby McDonagh, our independent Judging Panel was particularly impressed by businesses’ resilience in the face of global headwinds and investment in innovative solutions.
We would like to thank our Platinum and Category sponsors for their continued support and wish all shortlisted companies the very best of luck and look forward to welcoming them into the Export Industry Awards Alumni Programme. For those not shortlisted this year, we look forward to working closely with them to support their export journey.”
