Irish Exporters Association launches redesigned 2019 Supply Chain Series

Redesigned for its third year, the 2019 Series focuses on practical and operational challenges for importers and exporters addressing issues around customs, skills and training, transport, digitalisation, R&D and competitiveness. Providing a platform for leaders in Supply Chain and international trade, participants will receive solutions and practical support from sectoral and industry experts as well as network with other exporting companies all of whom are facing the challenges of a changing global trading environment and maximising the opportunities of digitisation and new technologies in air, road, sea and rail freight services.

The 2019 Supply Chain Series features:

Redesigned for 2019 to target specific topics that concern exporting businesses across the country, this year’s Supply Chain Series continues to offer our members with a platform for exchanging wide-ranging views with industry experts as well as Government and State Agencies representatives.

4 IEA Supply Chain Seminars: 4 large seminars will take place in Dublin, Dundalk, Cork and Limerick with case studies from local exporters, experts in industry standards, regulatory and compliance, as well as best practice advice across the supply chain by experts.

4 IEA Exporters Roundtables: By invitations only, these manufacturing roundtables address the key issues exporters face when exporting goods and services from Ireland around the world. Each roundtable will be dedicated to addressing a specific challenge – skills, transport & infrastructure, national competitiveness and warehousing – faced daily by Irish exporters.

6 Supply Chain Webinars: These interactive online seminars will address specific supply chain topics and feature guest speakers from across: AEO, Trade Finance, Revenue Recognition, Invoice Discounting, Cashflow/Working Capital, Customs Awareness, Procurement, Digital Supply Chain & Ireland as a location, Supply Chain Strategy feeding into Business Strategy, Sustainability, Global Supply Chains, Warehousing and Brexit updates.
