Irish Exporters Association announces Marie Armstrong as 2019 President
Dublin, 10th January 2019 – The Irish Exporters Association (IEA), the association representing the interest of the Irish exporting industry to facilitate and grow their exports to world markets, is delighted to today announce Marie Armstrong, Partner at KPMG Ireland as President of the association.
Simon McKeever, Chief Executive, Irish Exporters Association commented: “We are delighted to have Marie take up the Presidency from Nicola. Through her vast experience in business consultancy, the Irish Exporters Association further build on her insight and experience in developing new and innovative service offerings for all businesses in the exporting industry during this uncertain period in international trade. Marie’s dedication and engagement on the Council over the past number of years has been outstanding. We look forward to working closely with her throughout the year on the IEA’s new Certificate in International Trade and representing the interests of the exporting industry towards all levels of government and industry.

Over the past 18 months, Nicola has helped to modernise and develop our suite of membership services. The IEA will continue to benefit from Nicola’s experience and contribution to the organisation.”
